It’s true – we are going to make an album from envelopes. You will love this technique! In class you will take 6 envelopes and make a 12 page pocket album. Once you learn how do this, you will be hooked. Mini albums can be so expensive to make but this technique is very economical and is a great base to any album project you may have. In class you will also learn that there is more than one way to make these, so the possibilities are endless. Time permitting, we will start to decorate your finished album with Melissa Frances papers and embellishments. Color instructions will be provided so you can complete your album after class if need be.
As a bonus we have added 6 pull out tabs.

Vintage Printers Tray
(Printers Tray)
Instructor: Melissa Frances; Sponsored by: Melissa Frances
Melissa Frances just loves living in Pennsylvania, where she has a wealth of vintage venues at her door step. In this class, you will be altering one of her amazing finds –a large stash of “Vintage Printers Tray’s. Please note that this tray has been modified by her staff to fit a smaller format of approximately 17” x 11” (so it is slightly refurbished). In class you will learn mixed media techniques, and adorn your tray with papers, embellishments and other vintage items to create this one of a kind home decor piece. *Antique embellishments may vary. Feel free to bring some of your own trinkets and or pictures in various sizes from 1” x 1” to no larger than 2 ½”, to make it your own. A basic knowledge of working with gesso/matte medium and modeling paste is recommended if you wish to alter your tray with mixed media, as there will not be time in this class to cover the basics of mixed media. (Want to learn the basics? Melissa will be teaching them in the Mixed Media Canvas Class!) If you don’t have this knowledge – you can still take the class and just adorn your tray with paper, photos and embellishments!
Leave class with: Home Decor Printers Tray

Supplies: scissors, trimmer, glue, glue dots and distress ink for making your papers look old. You can make this tray without doing the mixed media techniques but if you would like to add that extra touch you will need these supplies – Matte Medium, Modeling Paste, Teflon mat or wax paper, 3/4” flat paint brush, pallet knife, paper towels, paper cup for water, heat dryer.
