Using an upscale classic Christmas paper line while incorporating some sparkle paper and textured cardstock, this 4 page layout comes to life. Regardless of the time of year, everyone needs the good old classic Christmas pages… and these do not disappoint. This 4 page layout will be adorned with metal pieces and Austria Illumination crystals which ultimately give the feel of a Hallmark Christmas.

We are going to use – and teach – how to use products you probably already have at home! We will start by using watercolor crayons on watercolor paper to make incredible looking backgrounds. We will then use single die cuts to make extraordinary focal points placed on elegant 6×6 card fronts. All cards are then adorned with Austria Illumination crystals. No two cards will be alike. You will be amazed at the ease of putting it all together, with such a rich look to them. You are truly going to love this process.

Come learn everything BetterPress. This newest technology will have you rethinking the way you create cards currently. BetterPress Letterpress System by Spellbinders is an innovative way to achieve the elegant look of letterpress technique without all the mess. Whether you are new to BetterPress or experienced, this class will guide you through everything you need to know about BetterPress. Leaving with a minimum of 6 A2 size cards, you will be hands on experimenting with BetterPress paper, non BetterPress paper, inks, sprays, watercolor techniques and multi-step pressing, with a little more added in. So that every student is hands on for the entire class time, every student will work with their own plates and press provided in class, and 1 machine will be shared between 2 people.

We hope to show you how to think a little differently when it comes to any 6×6 paper pack. We will take 1 6×6 paper pack, and turn that into 8, A2 size careds, envelopes included. 1 hour, 8 cards! We will take the cards to the next level just by adding a few Illumination crystals to each card. You will be amazed at what we complete, and HOW we complete them in just 1 hour! (shown are 4 of the 8 cards we will create!)

The Art of Elegance

Using approximately 5 gross packs of 2mm Austria Illumination crystals, we are going to jewel a pen from top to bottom. We ask that you come to class at least 10 minutes prior to the start of class to pick your color of crystals you wish to use. You will have a choice of 3 colors. If you take into account that purchasing 5 gross packs of color crystals by itself would cost $42.75, this class is priced to take and learn. Everyone will be able to take their bottle of glue home (along with the other little “tools”) to either finish or start another pen project. Only those who take the class will have the opportunity to purchase additional pen patterns to use at a later time. When complete, we dare you not to say this is your favorite pen. You will also receive 2 pen refills for later use.
