By the Sea Mixed Media Card Class

This mixed media card class uses Mixed Media papers, dimensional paste, splatter mediums and more with tearing, stenciling, fussy cutting, inking, etc. to create one of a kind, dimensional cards. We expect you to get the big wave done in class, and the other card later. It is our goal that you leave empowered to finish the remaining card later.
Leave class with: One mixed media card finished, and supplies to do a second one.

Supplies: non stick craft mat, glue, assorted shades of blue, brown and golden dye ink pads, scissors, splatter brush (we used #2 and #4 fan brushes), blending brush, wet wipes, small spray bottle of water (mister misty), optional foam tape.

Metallic Textured Skies & Backgrounds

In this class you will use metallic watercolor to create textured skies, a custom background and splatter art! You will work on 2 pre-embossed cards, and you will freehand the other 2. You will take home your 12 color watercolor palette. You will not stamp on your background in class, but we are including an example of what one of ours looks like after it is stamped. (We recommend heat embossing.) The Merry Christmas verse is not included, but is shown to illustrate what yours may look like if you choose to add a verse. Card assembly may need to be done after class, but your kit includes metallic layers and black card bases.
Leave class with: 4 cards (not assembled) & watercolor set

Supplies: Participants must bring a medium size waterbrush, water, 3″x5″ post it notes and paper towels/rag. Optional: splatter brush (#2 fan brush works well) adhesive.

Metallic Golds for Watercolor Cards

This class will introduce various shades of gold metallic watercolors for card making. You will work on pre-embossed cards, as well as doing a freehand wreath. Your kit will include a 6 color palette of watercolor paints. You will make 3 cards similar to what is shown (verses and embellishments will vary)
Leave class with: 3 card faces, assemble cards after class.

Fancy Folds & Sculpted Pansies

Your kit includes the materials to make these 4 cards – 3 utilize fancy folds! We expect you to complete 2 cards in class, and 2 later. You will be stamping, coloring and sculpting your pansies. This technique can be used on cards or pages in the future, as you will take home your pansy stamp.
Leave class with: 4 cards (2 completed in class, 2 completed later) and your pansy stamp.

You will learn to create custom wreaths and borders. Your kit will include a set of clear stamps which you will use to make a variety of components that can later be used to create cards, pages, photo frames, etc. The possibilities are endless!

Layered Vellum Zinnia

The featured technique of this class is layered vellum zinnias. You will cut and slightly curl your petals to accentuate the layers. You will make one card with this technique, and two other cards using other techniques. You will take home your red rubber zinnia stamp.
Leave class with: 3 cards (2 complete, 1 to complete later) and your zinnia stamp.
