Walk-In Admission is $10 daily (SAME PRICE FOR 24 YEARS!!), entry to the show floor at 10am – CASH only, please. Children 10 and under are admitted Free of Charge and must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are only sold for the day of purchase.

Pre-registration options:
Pre-registration tickets must be purchased during the pre-registration period – otherwise walk in pricing will apply and tickets must be purchased on-site.

1 Day Pass is $8 and good any day of the show – Save $2 on the walk-in admission price AND get an extra hour of shopping with 9am early entry to the show floor.

2 Day Pass is $15 and good any 2 days of the show – Save $5 on the walk in admission price AND get an extra hour of shopping with 9am early entry to the show floor.

3 Day Pass is $31 and good all 3 days of the show!  Includes a Souvenir Bag! Save $14 over full retail ($10 admission/$15 souvenir tote) by pre-purchasing as a package AND get an extra hour of shopping with 9am early entry to the show floor!

When you arrive:
Parking is charged by the building and is $10 per car. Parking can be pre-purchased, check back for a link closer to the show!

Bag Check – $1 a bag for all day! A great place to park your crop stuff while you shop! All proceeds benefit local non-profit groups! The specific non-profit group will be identified in the bag check area.

Suburban Collection Showplace is Southeastern Michigan’s Premiere Showplace with over 320,000 total square feet including 214,000 square feet of multi-purpose exposition space and 40,000 square feet of meeting/banquet space. Novi, Michigan is located at the junction of two interstate highways near the city of Detroit. The Great Lakes Mega Meet will be held in Expo Halls A & B, Classes will be held in the Diamond Center.

Flying in for the GLMM?
There are three International airports within an approximate hour radius of the Suburban Collection Showplace. All are far enough away that you will probably wish to rent a car to get around during the show weekend. When comparing flight prices, you may want to compare between airports, as that often affects pricing!

  • Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) is the closest airport to the Showplace – approximately 35-40 minutes by car.
  • Flint – Bishop International Airport (FNT) is the next closest airport – approximately 45-50 minutes by car.
  • Lansing – Capitol Region International Airport (LAN) is the next closest – approximately 65-70 minutes by car.

Hotel Accommodations
Hotel Blocks for the Great Lakes Mega Meet 2024 have been secured. Room blocks are for the dates May 9-11, 2024, most (but not all) hotels will honor the rates on shoulder dates. Round Robin Mini-Class Marathon FAQs

What should I bring to the Round Robin?
You’ll want to bring your ‘basic class kit’ which should include a 12” trimmer, scissors, your choice of adhesives (wet and dry), a black pen and an exacto knife.

How is the Round Robin going to work?
When you arrive between 5:30pm and 6:00pm, you’ll have the opportunity to collect your registration materials for the GLMM. You’ll then get an opportunity to visit our vendor tables, featuring products and promotions that will be available on the show floor. Then you’ll move in to your chosen classroom, where you’ll spend the rest of the night in a fast-paced environment making mini-class projects from some of our highest-rated instructors – who will rotate through our classrooms!

How many projects will I be making and who’s teaching me?!
Throughout the evening, you’ll complete FIVE projects sponsored by some of your favorite instructors – see above! Each mini-class is scheduled for an action-packed 30 minutes.

Can I sit with my friends during the Round Robin?
Yes! If you and some friends would like to sit together, be sure to arrive at the same time to pick up your registration materials, that way you can be assured space in the same classroom!  

Will I be able to shop during the Round Robin?
You’ll be too busy whipping up projects to do any shopping – but you will have a chance to preview what will be available on the show floor at the beginning of the Round Robin.

What is your beverage policy?
Only beverages with lids will be permitted in the classrooms. Beverages without tight fitting lids should be kept on the floor.

Can I buy Round Robin tickets at the door?
Unfortunately, no. To help our instructors plan, these limited tickets are only available during PRE-REGISTRATION. Buy yours today so that you don’t miss out!

All images are loaded into our system correctly, and display correctly on a laptop or desktop computer. This is not an issue we are able to resolve – so please double check your classes on a computer to be sure you are selecting the classes you intend!

Basic Supplies: For all classes you should plan to bring the following basic supplies, as well as any supplies listed with the class description:

CLASS POLICIES:

  • Students will not be admitted to classrooms more than 15 minutes late to class. Please make careful note of your schedule, and be ON TIME to your classes.
  • Class Kits will ONLY BE AVAILABLE to students who see the classroom assistant or the classroom managers during the ticketed class period.
  • NO ROLLING TOTES! For the safety and security of our guests. No Rolling Totes will be allowed on the Sales for or in Classrooms. Rolling Totes will only be permitted in Hall B for the Crops. A bag check area will be available and staffed all show hours.
  • Out of courtesy to all class participants, cell phones must be turned off in classrooms.
  • Video and/or Audio taping is not permitted in classes.
  • Class ticket does not include admission to exhibit hall.
  • Infants and Children 10 and under are not permitted in the classes.
  • All Children 11 and over must have their own ticket to enter the classroom.
  • No refunds will be issued based on perceived quality of the class or event.

The show floor is open for shopping from 10am-6pm on Thursday and Friday and from 10am-5pm on Saturday. (Pre-registered guests can get early entry at 9am!)  

  • The Suburban Collection Showplace will be transformed into the area’s largest scrapbook store for this convention weekend!
  • New products will be introduced at the Convention!
  • See products you may only have seen in magazines!
  • See and participate in live demonstrations of products!
  • Look for “show specials” for great deals on the products you love!
  • “Make It – Take It” projects at many booths! Sit down and rest your weary feet while you complete a quick and easy project to take home!
  • Every booth is different! No store carries the same products as any other, so you won’t want to miss ANY of the booths!

  • We DO allow wheelchairs, walkers and scooters on the show floor.
  • A VERY LIMITED number of scooters and wheelchairs are available to borrow from the Suburban Collection Showplace on a first come/first served basis each day.

All sandwiches served with an assortment of Pesto Pasta Salad/Coleslaw/Potato Salad, Whole Fruit and a Cookie.  Salads are served with Fruit Cup and Mousse.  Beverage service of coffee, tea, iced tea and water will be available during lunch service from 11:30-1:45.  If you are vegetarian or gluten free – please choose the (V) or (GF) option when registering.  Due to the large number of lunches being prepared, we are unable to accommodate special requests.

Table Layout:
Registration will open with 180 available tables (90 of those reserved ONLY for 3-Day All-Day Croppers) – but we have the option to expand up to 378 tables as registration progresses. PLEASE SELECT YOUR SPACE CAREFULLY – we cannot move croppers around from their preselected tables once we are on-site.  If you have an issue with your selected space after you have registered, please email support@megameet.com.   When we have expanded to the maximum number of tables, the Crop floor plan will be as shown below.  The Friday Night Only tables and the entrance to the crop area is below the bottom of the image, and the stage is to the right:


Crop FAQ:

What should I bring to the crop?
Plan ahead, and bring your scrapbook project ready to assemble! Pre-cropped and pre-planned pages will go together easily, and allow you to enjoy this HUGE crop! Plan to be able to bring in your supplies in one trip, because you won’t want to make several! It will be a long walk!

Should I bring my own chair to the crop?

We rent chairs from our supplier for our croppers; however if you are planning to crop all day – you may wish to either bring a cushion for your comfort, or bring your own chair. These are the best chairs they are able to provide to us for a reasonable cost, and in the quantity that we need. We’ve explored all the options available to us – and unfortunately we cannot get the quantity of chairs that we need in a better style. We’ve provided a photo of the chair we provide, so that you can make your own choice!

Will I be able to shop during the crop?
All Day Croppers will be able to shop on the show floor during show hours. Admission to the show floor is included with their All Day Crop registration. In order to keep your crop supplies secure – you will have to exit the crop to the front hallway and enter the show floor through the main entrance – you may not enter the show floor through the pipe and drape – our staff will stop you if you try to take a shortcut – it is critical for your security that you help us enforce this policy!  During the evening crop party, some exhibitors will have merchandise for sale at tables during the crop. They won’t be bringing the whole booth! So, if there is something special you need, or you see during the day, don’t wait until the evening to purchase it! Evening Crop tickets do NOT include Daily Admission.

Can I sit with my friends at the crop? When you register for the All Day Crop – you and your friends can select your tables so that you are near one another. For the evening crop, you can reserve a table for four for you and your friends. If you have not made a table reservation for the evening crop, then, seating for unreserved tickets is first come, first serve, beginning at 6:00 pm. There are 4 croppers to a table. All Day Crop tables and Evening Crop tables are not in the same sections of the Crop Room to allow power runs for the All Day Croppers.

Are there any age restrictions?
All croppers must have a ticket to enter the cropping hall, and we ask that you leave infants and children under the age of 11 at home with Dad or a sitter!

What about my Cricut/Silhouette/Pazzles/eClips or other machine?
All Day Croppers will have access to power at their tables.

What if I get hungry?
The concession stand will remain open during the first part of the crop!

What is your beverage policy?
Only beverages with lids will be permitted on the cropping tables, for the safety of your albums, and the safety of the albums of others working at your table! Beverages without tight fitting lids should be kept on the floor.

Will there be prizes?
At the Evening Crop Party – we like to give away LOTS of prizes – and we have games and contests during the evening where you can win prizes!!

I want to enter the Table Theme Contest – what should I know?
Your theme decorations must be on or above your crop table(s) – no floor displays. You can declare your intent to participate at the stage on Friday evening – a call for entries will be made from the stage. Prizes are geared for 4 people, so plan accordingly. Treats/Services/etc. may NOT be exchanged for votes. (that doesn’t mean you can’t have treats at your table – but they should be available to anyone, regardless of how they plan to vote). Hang on to your Crop Goody Bag voucher – that’s your voting ballot! Participants can only vote during the allotted time which will be announced from the stage. Votes cast before or after that time will not be counted! (So don’t give your voucher away until you hear an announcement at the crop!) All croppers are eligible to enter – All Day Crop tables are 6′ long (your display can span 2-4 tables in the All Day Area), and Evening only Crop tables are 8′ long.

Can I buy crop tickets at the door?
If there are crop tickets available after all of the pre-registrations are processed, they will be for sale beginning opening day of the convention, in the information booth!

A note about allergies:
We do not regulate what other croppers bring to decorate their tables, or as snacks, so if you have severe allergies, please use caution while attending our events.

SHOW POLICIES:

  • Umbrella Strollers ONLY! Due to the crowds at the Mega Meet, we restrict to only umbrella strollers on the show floor. The wheelbase of your stroller must fit inside the taped area near the entrance (19″ wide by 30″ long). Umbrella Strollers MUST contain a child – they cannot be used as shopping carts. Free Umbrella Strollers are available to check out if your stroller is too large to bring onto the floor.
  • NO ROLLING TOTES/CARTS/WAGONS! For the safety and security of our guests, no rolling totes/carts/wagons will be allowed on the Sales Floor or in Classrooms. Rolling Totes/Carts/Wagons will only be permitted at the Crop Parties. A bag check area will be available and staffed all show hours.
  • Wheelchairs, electric scooters, and other mobility assistance devices are always welcome for our disabled guests.
  • Children 10 and under admitted free of charge, and must be accompanied by an adult. Children 11 and over must purchase an admission ticket.
  • If you choose to bring your children, you must hold your child’s hand throughout the convention hall, as many scrapbooking tools are not child-safe!
  • Please note that Make-It and Take-Its at the booths are for adults only!
  • Pre-registration entitles you to 9am early-bird entry to the show. Participants who purchase their tickets on-site will be admitted at 10am.
  • Handstamp is required for re-entry

CLASS POLICIES:

  • Students will not be admitted to classrooms more than 15 minutes late to class. Please make careful note of your schedule, and be ON TIME to your classes.
  • Class Kits will NOT BE AVAILABLE to students who do not see the classroom assistant or the classroom managers during the ticketed class period.

  • Out of courtesy to all class participants, cell phones must be turned off in classrooms.
  • Video and/or Audio taping is not permitted in classes.

  • All Children 11 and over must have their own ticket to enter the classroom or crop area.

CROP POLICIES:

  • Daily Admission is NOT required to enter the Friday Night Crop Party; however, Friday Night Crop tickets do NOT include admission to exhibit hall.
  • Daily admission IS included with All Day Crop tickets for the same day the All Day Crop is purchased.
  • Infants and Children 10 and under are not permitted in the crops.
  • All Children 11 and over must have their own ticket to enter the crop area.
  • No refunds will be issued based on perceived quality of the event.

SCHEDULE CHANGES:

  • A $3.00 service fee will be charged for all requests to change your schedule.
  • Requests for schedule changes must be made in writing to support@megameet.com. Please include your full name, email address, and details about what you wish to change on your schedule.
  • Requests for schedule changes must be made before the on-line registration closing date. NO SCHEDULE CHANGES can be made following that date.
  • If your schedule change requires additional payment; we will contact you for the additional payment.
  • If your schedule change results in a refund, we will refund to the credit card we have on file, or issue a refund voucher if you paid by another method.

CANCELLATIONS:

  • A $5.00 service fee will be charged for all requests to cancel your schedule.
  • Requests to cancel your schedule must be made in writing to support@megameet.com. Please include your full name, email address, and a request to cancel your entire schedule.
  • Cancellation requests MUST be made before the on-line registration closing date. We CANNOT process cancellations or issue refund following the on-line registration closing date.  This date is printed on your confirmation.
  • If you find that you cannot attend following the cancellation deadline, you may send someone to the show in your place; simply write a note on your confirmation that you authorize another person to claim your registration packet.

REFUNDS:

  • If you have registered by mail, and we were unable to place you into some of the events you paid for, a refund voucher for those events will be in your registration packet. Please see the Information Booth during the show to redeem. Refunds not claimed at the Convention will be forfeited.
  • No refunds due to the weather or natural disaster, or other acts of God, unless entire event is cancelled. No refunds will be issued based on perceived quality of the class or event.

Pre-registration will close at Midnight on April 26, 2024, after which, tickets can be purchased at the door. We always have plenty of admission tickets. Class/Crop/Round Robin tickets will depend on availability after pre-sales.
